About Botswana High Commission UK
The Botswana High Commission in London, United Kingdom is one of 51 Botswana diplomatic and consular representations abroad. As a governmental organisation it deals with representing Botswana nationals abroad and liaising with UK authorities.
The Challenge
When BITCUK approached Joyful Living the request was to organise a wellbeing day for the staff. There was a need to help employees relax mentally and relieve physical tension, as well as boost motivation. The client also wanted to increase awareness of wellbeing aspects within the workforce, hence they chose educational workshops on topics with the potential to give the team the knowledge to make healthy choices and improve their lifestyle.
Joyful Living to the Rescue!
For BITCUK Joyful Living organised a Company Wellbeing Day to reward employees and promote wellbeing at work with activities spread along the whole day. We started the day with a very energising Bootcamp session in their lounge area. We then had 2 Massage therapists in a separate room offering Onsite Chair Massage and Beauticians providing facials to pamper the staff. Over the day employees attended various workshops in Nutrition and Laughter Yoga. Joyful Living has also organised another wellbeing day, providing dance classes, mindfulness workshops and employee health screenings for the team.
The feedback from BITCUK has been very positive and were very glad to be able to contribute to promoting wellbeing at work and leave the office with a sense of wellbeing and positivity.
