World Mental Health Day Activities for the Workplace
Show your team their wellbeing matters. We bring onsite massage, mental health workshops and mindfulness sessions straight to your office, anywhere in the UK.
With the day falling on a Saturday this year, most employers are marking it during the week of 5 to 9 October. There is still time to book.
Why Mark World Mental Health Day at Work?
World Mental Health Day takes place every year on 10 October, led by the World Federation for Mental Health. It is a chance for organisations everywhere to open up conversations about mental health and show staff where they can find support.
For employers, it is a natural prompt to go beyond a poster in the kitchen. A day of practical, hands-on wellbeing gives people time away from their desks, shows that leadership takes mental health seriously, and often starts conversations that carry on long after the day itself.
The 2026 theme
“Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices, Real Change”
This year’s focus on listening fits naturally with the workplace. Our workshops create a safe space for teams to talk openly, while massage and mindfulness give people a moment to switch off and recharge.

World Mental Health Day FAQs
When is World Mental Health Day 2026?
World Mental Health Day takes place on 10 October every year. In 2026 it falls on a Saturday, so most workplaces are holding their activities during the week of 5 to 9 October.
How far in advance do we need to book?
The earlier the better, especially around awareness days, but we regularly arrange sessions at short notice. Contact us with your date and we will confirm availability.
How many staff can take part?
A single massage therapist can see as many as 24 people in a day, and we can bring additional therapists for larger teams. Workshops and mindfulness sessions can be run for small groups or whole departments.
Do staff need to get changed for a massage?
No. Onsite chair massage is carried out fully clothed, so staff can step away for a session and return straight to work.
What space do we need to provide?
Just a quiet corner, spare office or meeting room. Our therapists bring the massage chairs and everything else they need.
Can we make this a regular benefit?
Yes. Many clients use World Mental Health Day to launch regular weekly, fortnightly or monthly sessions as an ongoing staff wellbeing perk.
